The entire curriculum is designed in a manner to facilitate learning in an enjoyable manner. Activities are designed for all major concepts to facilitate learning by doing and allow the clarity of concept. Each topic will be integrated with visual representation using smart boards, demonstrations and activities to cater to individual difference and different learning styles. The curriculum implementation will equip students to apply the knowledge acquired and make them thinkers. Life and thinking skills will be an inseparable part of the curriculum. Every moment of learning will integrate and impart the essential lifelong skills that will equip the students with the tools to face the challenges of growing up and ultimately be a balanced adult.

"Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one." - Malcolm Forbes

The first few years that children spend in school are extremely critical in their development and also influence their attitude towards the school in general and studies in particular. Recognizing this, Doon Public School lays great emphasis on providing our younger children with a friendly, warm, and homely environment. The classrooms are well equipped and brightly decorated to exude a feeling of belonging. An Activity Centre and Play Park designed by Education Experts provides areas for leisure and relaxation for the little ones outside their classrooms. The teaching at this level is activity based and modern methods of teaching like play way and role play are extensively used for imparting education.

the junior school (class i-v)

The junior school is the first step forward for our little ones as they enter Class I. The basic inputs that the child has been provided at the formative stage are consolidated at this level as the student becomes capable of understanding basic concepts of the various subjects. The classrooms and infrastructure have been carefully selected to ensure that the sense of belonging created in the early years carries on with the child as he moves to the junior school. Various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are introduced at this level and the children are encouraged to explore their creativity and individual talent.

the middle school (class vi-viii)

When the child enters Class VI, the school helps him make the transition from a protected environment to one where he develops his individuality and personality. The child is also encouraged to develop his interest in specific subjects as per his aptitude and potential so that in the later years he may specialize in his chosen areas. The subjects are taught by specialist teachers trained specifically for teaching particular subjects. The curriculum includes English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, Arts, Music, and a third language.

the senior school (class ix onwards)

The higher education which serves as a bridge between middle and college education is expected to prepare young people between the age group 14-17 in the world of work and entry into the higher education. At this level the school will strive to provide a scholarly yet stress-free environment to enable the student to achieve the goals and standards. The teachers at this stage would be recognized experts in their field so that the students can be provided every opportunity to excel at their academics.
